Patton, Contracting Officer, 214-767-9985 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 119-8067 for the construction of a new food service building as indicated in the solicitation, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas. The work required by this contract shall include all equipment, materials and labor for the construction of the following: Occupancy -- Dining (assembly), kitchen and receiving area. The food service building consists of, but is not limited to, an institutional kitchen, bakery, cold storage, serving, dishwashing, dining and support areas. Equipment for the kitchen, bakery, cold storage, dishwashing and serving area is included in the scope of work unless specifically noted otherwise. The building is of steel and masonry construction, is heated and air conditioned and has approximately 19,700 gross square feet. The estimated magnitude of this contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation package will be available on or about September 18, 1997, with an anticipated bid opening on or about October 23, 1997.
