of Engineers, Walla Walla District, plans to negotiate and award a
sole source procurement, in accordance with U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) to the
Colville Confederated Tribes for preparation and publication of a final
archaeological report on Marmes Rockshelter (45FR50) located on the
Palouse River approximately two miles upriver of its confluence with
the Snake River, Lower Monumental Reservoir, Washington. Work will
consist of a comprehensive analysis of all archaeological materials
recovered from Marmes Rockshelter (primarily the 1968 data recovery
work) and preparation of a final integrative report. Project is
scheduled to last for three years with the final report to be submitted
by September 30, 2000, f.o.b. destination, Walla Walla District.
Maximum total project cost will range between $300,000 and $400,000.
Size standard for small business concerns under Standard Industrial
Classification code 8733 is when the annual average gross revenue of
the concern taken for the last 3 fiscal years does not exceed $5
