C -- A/E SERVICES TO EXPAND AMBULATORY CARE BLDG. 7 POC Herman Chelette (318) 473-0010 ext. 2239 or Carol Robertson ext. 2234 Project 502-402 Architect Engineer Services to design and furnish plans and specifications for construction of a single story addition connected to the main hospital building number 7 at the VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. Some existing space will be renovated to allow for the new construction. Project will provide primary care clinic space to include exam rooms, administrative offices, security, laboratory, phlebotomy, day surgery, imaging, pharmacy, women's health and other clinical functions. New electrical, communications, mechanical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems will be installed along with the provision of capacity for future horizontal and vertical growth. A/E selection based on recent specialized experience, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project. Area of consideration is restricted to A/E firms and consultants within a 150 mile radius of Alexandria, Louisiana. This notice issued subject to availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The estimated construction cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
