Solicitation number N00168-98-Q-34AC will be issued 26 September 1997 for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, National Naval Medical Center. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 7629. The small business size standard is $3.5 million. NNMC has a requirement for a preventive maintenance contract for GE models RT50, RT3000, RT3600, RT4000 and ATL Ultramark 4 Plus ultrasound equipment. Award will be made in the form of a purchase order for a base year period of one (1) year effective from date of award through 30 September 1998 with three (3) option years. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the options.
