Reference is made to the Pre-Solicitation Notice in the August 25, 1997 edition of the Commerce Business Daily. The purpose of this modification is to clarify the following: 1) Hard copies of the solicitation will only be available for download from the World Wide Web Electronic Commerce Home page available at the following address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil. However, copies of the Technical Data Package (TDP) will be mailed to eligible contractors in CD ROM format. Eligible contractors should provide physical address of location to which TDP should be mailed. This address should be E-mailed to the POC below. 2) Contingent upon meeting established security requirements, industry of the United States and Canada have been determined to be eligible to participate in the M795 Program. Industry of foreign nations other than Canada may request a copy of the Technical Data Package (TDP), but release of the TDP cannot be guaranteed. 3) The anticipated release date of the RFP remains on or about September 24, 1997.
