The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida, intends to award a sole source contract for the remanufacturing of Bevel Gears to Stein Seal Company, Wambold Road & Industrial Blvd., Kulpsville, PA. These Bevel Gears are a component of the TF34 engine used on the S-3 and A-10 aircraft. The engines were originally manufactured by General Electric. The period of performance is for a base year with 4 option years. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this propose contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
