R -- PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SECURITY SERVICES, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO THE UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL 3880-97-Q-0030 DUE 101497 POC Ms. Ara Wright, Contract Specialist, (202) 314-7851. Provide professional security services, advice and assistance with regard to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) and the Department of Protection Services (DPS) operations. The DPS operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Assistance provided under this contract may be provided during various hours of the days, evening, or night. Performance shall fall into two categories: expert advice and assistance; and products provided as a result of tasking documents and assignments. Expert advice and assistance includes but is not limited to the following types of information or activities: provide law enforcement support and guidance as a U.S. Deputy Marshal, perform liaison with other law enforcement and security professionals, gather intelligence information or other information that may impact Museum operations or activities. Products provided as a result of tasking documents may include, but is not limited to the following: written threat assessment; investigations of incidents or activitiesrelated to Museum operations or activities; review and/or write USHMM or DPS policy and background investigations. Award will be made for one (1) year and one (1) option year. The magnitude of this requirement is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 for one year and one option year. RFQ will be issued o/a 29 Sep 1997.
