Carter, Contract Specialist, The Federal Bureau of Prisons requires the provision of religious instruction and pastoral leadership for inmates of the Jewish faith at the Federal Correctional Complex, Low, Medium, and Camp facilities, Coleman, Florida. The individual will be required to provide instruction in the Torah and provide pastoral leadership for special Holy Days and provide counseling to Jewish inmates. This contract has a base year and three (3) option years. The Contractor would provide one (1) weekly visit to each of the facilities, consisting of one (1) hour, predicated upon the presence of Jewish inmates who require this service. The contractor should have a Theological Degree from Seminary, knowledge of the Hebrew language, the Torah and prior pastoral experience in the synagogue. The contractor must possess the skills and abilities to develop, organize, and teach all aspects of the Jewish faith, doctrines, and theology. The Contractor must have some demonstrated skills in writing and speaking Hebrew.
