R -- INVESTIGATION OF EEO COMPLAINTS SOL RFQ-00-97-Q-43 POC Vernel P. Thompson (202)720-2134 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has a need for attorneys who are expert in the analysis and resolution to EEO complaints and in identifying and eliminating systemic discrimination. The attorneys will work with the Deputy Director for Employment, Office of Civil Rights, in conducting an EEO investigation and review of a very large USDA organization outside the DC area. The estimated work period is October 20 to November 30. The attorneys will assess the merits of and investigate 50-100 individual EEO complaints; analyze statistical data; conduct on-site interviews, document analysis, and settlement conferences; and contribute to a report with findings and recommendations for corrective action, if any. Pre on-site analysis and planning will commence in mid October in D.C. The on site is scheduled for two to three weeks, beginning November 3.
