71 -- PACKAGED OFFICE MULTIPLE AWARD SCHEDULE SOL 3FNO-97-M110-N DUE 100698 POC Mark Dunkum (703) 305-5641 or Dinell Cook (703) 305-6587 The GSA National Furniture Center will issue a solicitation for multiple award schedule 71, part II, section F, for packaged offices and conference roomson or about October 6, 1997, closing a year later on or about October 6, 1998. Offers may be submitted any time prior to the October 6, 1998, closing date. The contract period will be January 1, 1998, through December 31, 2002, with an option to extend through December through December 31, 2007. The schedule will cover packaged offices and conference room. The maximum order will be 3,000,000; however, contractors under this schedule will be allowed to accept orders in excess of the maximum order in accordance with standard GSA multiple award procedures. In order to be eligible for award, offerors must offer at least one packaged office or one packaged conference room. A packaged office consists of, at a minimum, a work surface (E.G., desk, l-unit workstation, tabledesk), storage unit (E.G., lateral file, credenza) and ergonomic desk chair. A packaged conference room conists of, at a minimum, a conference room table, and conference room chair. Additional optional items may be offered such as CASE goods, chairs, lounge seating, computer support furniture, accent furniture, office/conference room appliances, partitions, lamps, floor coverings, window treatments, wall ART, artificial plants, and wall coverings; however, the offer must contain the minimum stated above. Installation, staging, warehousing, ancillary serives, and administrative services may also be offered on an optional basis. Only those offerors which receive awards for the furniture items will be elgible for award of the installation, etc. services.
