Service-Washington, on behalf of the United States Army Center of
Military History CMH, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
quotes are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation document, DASW01-98-Q-0031,incorporates provisions and
clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, March 97.
This solicitation is unrestricted. The standard Industrial
Classification Code (SIC) for this requirement will be 4213, size
standard $12.5M. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES TO BE ACQUIRED: The contractor
shall move artifacts, vehicles and helicopters from Southeastern
Equipment Co. (SECO), 607 Sand Bar Ferry Road, Augusta, Ga, 30901 to
Anniston Army Depot, Al and Ft Gordon, Ga. The period of performance is
twenty one (21) calendar days from the date of award. There will be no
work on weekends or Government holidays. The contractor shall provide
past performance from at least two (2) previous Government contracts.

following equipment from SECO, 607 Sand Bar Ferry Road, Augusta, Ga
