NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO NORTHWEST CENTER INDUSTRIES (NCI). Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Northwest Center Industries (NCI), a NISH company. The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Seattle is currently negotiating a contract with NISH to provide mailroom services for the Western Regional Center in Seattle, WA. Current contract with mail service contractor expires 10/31/97, and new contract with NCI not expected to be in effect until 1/1/98. NOAA requires immediate interim contract with NCI for period 11/98 -- 12/98 to prevent any interruption in mailroom service. NOAA proposes to enter into two-month contract with NCI.
