S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH H&S MACHINE IN SEATTLE, WA. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with H&S Machine in Seattle, WA. The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, Pacific Marine Envrionmental Lab (PMEL) has designed a prototype ATLAS2 sensor module. H&S has modified the prototype sensors over a two-year period, and PMEL now requires 600 of the cases for subject sensor modules. H&S is the only source that has all machine shop equipment set up and final design set up for immediate production. It is not feasible to compete with any other source.
