Concerns having the ability for providing community residential corrections facility(s) for pregnant female offenders. Interested offerors are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control accountability and treatment, including all medical care which includes pre and post birth planning and counseling. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area. Operational hotel/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated total number of inmate days are 8760 for the base period, 4380 inmate days for the first option year, 4745 inmate days for the second and third option years respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is November 9, 1997, estimated closing date is January 8, 1998. Contractbase period is 2 years, with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated.
