The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-96-G-0115. This order will include engineering studies and analysis pertaining to the utilization of the E6 Mission Computer System (MCS). The study will include MILSTAR interoperability, and correction of test dificiencies for future potential upgrades to the E6 that would require MCS implementation on changes. This order will be issued on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Federal Systems. Inc., (LMFS) 9500 Godwin Drive, Manassas, VA 22110. LMFS is the only source with the pre-requisite knowledge and experience in the design and development of the MCS. (0293)
