Enforcement (OCSE),Administration for Children and Familiies (ACF) is
soliciting proposals to provide services to establish and conduct a
Fatherhood Advocacy Initiative. The purpose of the contract will be to
develop comprehensive plans to enlighten the disadvantaged fatherhood
community on issues regarding the responsibilities of fatherhood;
analyze approaches, findings and methodologies to reach and evaluate
disadvantaged fathers; develop materials and disseminate useful
information to the field. The contractor shall establish technical
assistance seminars and workshops to provide information; identify and
select responsible fatherhood programs serving disadvantaged fathers
for direct technical assistance; make recommendations for outreach
strategies and assist OCSE in establishing a public relations campaign
for responsible fatherhood. Anticipated period of performance is
twelve (12) months with three (3) one-year options, if exercised. The
solicitation will be issued on or about November 6, 1997 as RFP No.
105-98-8301. All requests for the RFP must be in writing. No telephone
