It is now being READVERTISED under Full and Open Competition. The requirement is for engineering and technical support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, South Florida Testing Facility and will entail quick response services in support of the underwater tracking range operations, field test operations, and for range maintenance. Services include the following: test support and ranging operations; cable range maintenance; vessel and ship's equipment maintenance and repair; maintenance forecasts and analyses support; preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, vessel and aircraft charter; ocean engineering and design support; small vessel operations; and at-sea acoustic and non-acoustic data acquisition and analysis. The Contractor will also be required to provide logistical support services for visiting naval vessels. The Contractor's prior experience shall include demonstrated experience with maintaining and operating marine equipment and with in-water full-scale testing and associated experimental equipment. The Contract type is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a time and materials pricing arrangement for five years.
