Hundley, Contracting Officer Provide materials and services necessary to renovate the existing Boat Maintenance Facility at USCG Group Sault St. Marie, MI. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing areas of the existing roof and structure, raising the roof structure, and constructing a new roof at a higher elevation. The work also includes new metal siding and a new roll-up door. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 09-L6001 and Drawing No. 09-L6001 (sheets 1-14). All work shall be completed within 244 calendar days after date of award, which is anticipated to be mid January 1998. Complete access to the Boat Shop and designated adjacent work areas will not commence until 01 April 1998. All work, including punch list items, shall be completed by 15 September 1998. Plans (half-size), specifications, and all necessary bid documents will be available on 10 November 1997 and may be obtained by submitting a check in the amount of $15.00 per set (non-refundable) made payable to the U. The solicitation is unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
