The US Army intends to place a purchase order, sole source to ICI-INAAP Army Ammunition Plant, Charleston, IN 47111-9668 to Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) 100 each XM231, XM232 inert MACS charges. Fabrication of 30 each XM231, XM232 cutaway inert models, and 100 each of XM231, XM232 reduced size inert models. In addition, 10 each M3A1, and 5 each M4A2, M119A2, M203 inert bag charges are to be fabricated. Contractor must provide inert M1, M6 and M30A1 propellant with similar densities to the live propellants and end seals to load the inert case sets. The contractor must have the engineering staff, equipment, expertise and LAP facility to satisfy the US Government's requirements. See Numbered Note 22. (0294)
