FCGS-Z3-94-0041-1-N, invites you to offer products under New
Technologies Special Item Number 540-1003, which has been added to
Federal Supply Schedule Group 66, Part II, Section B. This will be an
open-continuous (Evergreen) Special Item Number. Offers may be
submitted at anytime. This requirement will be synopsized annually. The
definition of the New Technology Special Item Number (SIN) is a new
product or an upgraded product (as to be virtually a new product) made
available to the commercial and government marketplace. This product
must meet the Special Provision as outlined below: Item (products or
services) that provide a new function/attribute/service, items not
currently in the supply system which meet the needs of Government
customers, or items that significantly improved an existing
function/attribute/service if the items were not immediately aaded to
the schedule. The New Technology SIN 540-1003 is intended for temporary
placement of new items whichcan be characterized under this schedule,
until the items can be formally placed on an existing or newly created
SIN on this schedule. Offerors must understand that there is not
implied guarantee that the item offered will be recognized and accepted
as new technology. All items will be reviewed for acceptance by the
