Y -- MARBLE BLUFF DAM REPAIR SOL 1425-98-SI-20-20023 DUE 120997 POC Mr. Dion Steele (916) 978-5142 The principal components of work are; (a) Repairing the stone armor protection at the downstream toe of the baffled apron drop which includes excavation of sediment covering existing riprap, furnishing and placing supplemental riprap (approx 1,200 tons), construction (and later removal) of access benches and ramps, and diversion and care of the river; and (b) Constructing a new rock ramp for fish passage in the river 500 feet downstream of the baffled apron drop structure which includes excavation to reshape the river channel bottom, furnishing and placing filter fabric and riprap (10,000 tons) to form the new rock ramp, construction (and later restoration) of access ramps, and diversion and care of the river. Award will be made pursuant to the "Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program." Contractors do not have to be a small business to submit an offer under this program. The price range of the work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
