The purpose is to provide the services of a registered pharmacist who is familiar with Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service Pharmacy program activities; pharmacy requirements and standards in the IHS manual, Aberdeen Area pharmacy policies and procedures; JCAHO presurvey and survey accreditation criteria and standards; Medicare and Medicaid accreditation standards, and the Veterans Administration Prime Vendor Program. Services are required by November 17, 1997 through September 30, 1998, with options to renew for two one -year terms. Because of the urgency of this requirement, a purchase order must be awarded and the work to begin no later thanNovember 17, 1997.
