(Renovation to an existing two-story 14,481 square foot concrete with concrete masonry unit infill auditorium with an estimated construction cost of $1.8M Construction is scheduled for 28 weeks, from Feb. 2,1998 through August 14, 1998. A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through is scheduled for Dec. 10, 1998 at 11:30 a.m. (Pacific Time). Separate sealed bids for the above project are due on January 19, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). Bid documents may be examined at locations throughout the Tri County. Each bidder offering a proposal must comply with the bidding provisions of the Contract General Conditions. State prevailing wage rates or Davis-Bacon wage rates apply, whichever is the highest. A copy of the bid documents can be obtained from the Foundation for a non-refundable charge of $325.00. CSUMB requires the successful bidder to achieve a minimum goal of 3% DVBE participation.
