The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX intends to acquire 400 grams of (+) disparlure. A first article sample is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery can be accomplished in two phases with 200 grams delivered by January 30, 1998 and 200 grams by June 30, 1998. The copy of the solicitation, 33-M-APHIS-98, is to be released on or about December 12, 1997.
