The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire utilities, equipment, materials and accompanying labor for removal of interior space and interior wet space coverings on behalf of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Jacksonville, FL. This proposed procurement is for a period beginning 1 April 1998, with two one year options. This proposed procurement is intended to be accomplished via an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinte Quantity Firm Fixed Price Contract. There will be various line items contained in this solicitation to be utilized in the performance of these services. Offerors will be required to submit their proposals in two separate parts -- Part I -- Past Performance and Part II -- Price. For evaluation purposes, the Government will consider Past Performance to be more important than price. The award made resulting from this solicitation will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined most advantageous to the Government, cost/price and other factors considered. This procurement will be conducted on an unrestricted basis, and will carry an applicable SIC code of 3731.
