INDUSTRY DAY -- C-141 CONTRACT SOURCE OF REPAIR The C-141 System Program Office has a follow-on requirement for unscheduled depot-level maintenance and repair of C-141 aircraft. The anticipated workload includes fuselage and wing repair, modifications, and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) installations. Approximately 1 to 20 aircraft are anticipated for drop-in repair at the contractor's facility annually for at least a five year period. The acquisition will be accomplished through the use of commercial practices to the maximum extent practicable. An industry day meeting will be conducted on 18 Dec 97 beginning 9:00 a.m. at the Eagle Building, Distance Learning Center, Third Floor, Robins Air Force Museum, Warner Robins, GA. All interested sources are invited to participate in this Industry Day meeting. This meeting will afford all interested parties an opportunity to participate in the initial planning and strategy for the acquisition. It will be an excellent opportunity for input regarding contract clauses, evaluation criteria, delivery requirements and overall program execution.
