Schroeder, (303) 220-6528 The USPS is soliciting offers in Red Devil, Alaska, of existing space, sites or construction of a building for a new leased Main Post Office of approximately 915 net interior square feet on a site to be controlled by the offeror of approximately 12,000 to 43,560 square feet. Offerors will be required to show adequate control or ownership of any site or space offered. Sites may be offered for control by the Postal Service and later assignment for purchase to a third party for construction of a Post Office to USPS specifications. Upon being awarded a contract for construction of a new facility, lessor will be required to acquire the site, construct the specified building, and lease it to the U. S. Postal Service for the agreed upon rental for a firm period of 20 years, with two firm five-year renewal options. Existing space may be offered as is, or with improvements to USPS specifications. Any award made under this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is complete, and includes a site acceptable to the U. S. Postal Service, whose proposal for the cost, location, lease terms, overall project economics, operational benefits, past job performance, and other factors is most advantageous to the Postal Service.
