NASA/KSC plans to issue a IFB/ Request for Offers to provide the labor, equipment, and materials to Launch Pad 39A Surface Restoration. Base Bid: Restore the surface, slopes and repair Catacombs roof slab at Launch Pad 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Fl. Additive Alternate 1: Work shall be similar to the base bid and include 28 additional panels located at the north end of the pad surface. Additive Alternate 2: Work shall include repair to cracks and replacement of concrete on the sloped surfaces of the Pad. Additive Alternate 3: Work shall include removal and replacement of a 7,150 sf elevated concrete slab located immediately south of the Pad flame trench. The order of magnitude for the procurement is Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1542 and $17.0 million. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about December 11, 1997 with an anticipatedoffer closing date of on or about January 11, 1998.
