SOUGHT -- The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division
(NAWCTSD) has identified a potential requirement for integration
software for electronic classrooms. The integration software is
currently referred to as the Electronic Classroom Integration Software
(ECIS). The ECIS will be used to integrate and present instruction
including information from: Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
(IETMs); Computer Based Training (CBT) products; Curriculum; and other
media such as audio and video clips, PowerPoint slides and other
graphics. The ECIS will provide instructors with the ability to manage
and control the presentation of the information and data needed to
conduct training. The ECIS will be an MS-Windows 95 or NT based system
which enables users to integrate media into the instructional or
presentation materials electronically for presentation in the
Electronic Classroom (ECR). The ECIS shall integrate with various
photo, animation, graphics, video, audio, active streaming, and other
application /object files. The ECIS will initiate and run other
software such as executable software and OLE linkable software in the
MS Windows environment. At a minimum, it will be able to initiate and

Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) projects that might meet this
requirement is requested. A preliminary functional description will be
available in the near future. Companies having interest in this area,
or products that might be applicable, are requested to send
information to Robert_Riddle@ntsc.navy.mil or FAX (407) 380-4495.
