The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to provide demolish four (4) two-story conventional wood-frame housing units with basements, fill to grade and turf. Asbestos containing materials are: floor tile mastics, exterior caulking, transite siding and joint compound on the interior walls and ceilings. Metal window frames, floor beams and columns are coated with lead paint. SIC: 1795 Cost Range: $200,000 -- $500,000 This solicitation will be issued unrestricted and subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFARS 252.219-7008 entitled "Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plans (Alt I). Bidders interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request, with a company check, certified cashiers's check or money order in the amount of $43.00 to Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), Box 40, Building 83, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT 06349-5040. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. Two sets of plans and specifications will be sent via First Class U.S. Mail upon availability to those contractors who have rendered payment. Checks not made payable to U.S. Treasury, or not annotated with the solicitation number will be returned unprocessed. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
