TAYLOR (202) 782-1176 Contracting Officer EARL MUSE (202) 782-1170 (Site Code DADA15) Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to solicit for custom made heparin coated cardiopulmonary bypass circuits (perfusion packs) to consist of polyvinyl chloride tubing, a venous reservoir bag, oxygenator, arterial filter, cardiotomy and a 4:1 blood to crystalloid cardioplegia delivery system. The entire circuit must be heparin coated. This will be a requirements type contract for approximately 135 units for the basic contract period (from date of award through 30 Sep 98), and approximately 135 units for each of four 12 month option periods. Units will be shipped in quantities of approximately 15 per month. Complete specifications and drawings will be provided with the solicitation package.
