16 -- SMOKEJUMPER RAM-AIR PARACHUTE CANOPIES SOL R220Q980008 DUE 011498 POC Kay Ryan, Contract Specialist, 208-387-5717 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Smokejumpers have a requirement to have 38 ram-air parachute canopies manufactured according to specific patented drawings available with the solicitation. Fifteen of the parachute canopies shall be shipped to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, and the balance shipped to Boise, Idaho. Parachute canopies shall be received at these locations by April 1, 1998. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business. Only written quotes will be accepted. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used for award. Anticipated award date is January 20, 1998.
