1997. This acquisition is set-aside for small business only. A small
business means a concern whose size is no greater than the numerical
size standard applicable to this contracting opportunity. The size
standard is $5.0 million in average annual receipts over the last three
years. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7383. In
addition, the solicitation will be available for downloading on the
Internet from the "Current Business Opportunities at Headquarters
Procurement Services" Home Page located at address
http://www.pr.doe.gov/solicit.html No paper copies of the solicitation
will be made available. Prospective offerors that do not have the
electronic capability to download the solicitation shall submit a
written request to Timothy Jackson for a diskette copy of the
solicitation. The requestor must include a self-addressed stamped
envelope and a MS-DOS formatted high density 3 1/2" virus free diskette
suitable for download of the electronic solicitation. Offerors who fail
to submit an appropriate diskette, or self-addressed stamped envelope,
will not receive the solicitation. All offerors interested in
receiving notification of solicitation release should notify Timothy
Jackson at Timothy.Jackson@hq.doe.gov (This does not include offerors
that have already requested the solicitation via E-mail). The
notification must include a point of contact name, company address,
electronic mail address (preferred) or fax number, and the solicitation
number. Notification of solicitation release will be issued through
electronic mail or fax message only. Notification of any amendments
will only be sent to those offerors that submit an intent to propose
notification. It is the responsibility of prospective offerors, after
receipt of the solicitation, to notify the designated Department point
of contact of their intent to propose. Without such notification,
prospective offerors will not be informed when amendments and other
