FINES, 415-522-3383 The Government will be issuing a multiple-award, idefinite delivery and indefinite quanity elevator services task order contract, to include installation, repair, renovation, operations and maintenance (recurring and non-recurring), and elevator systems design and consultant services. Contracts cover the states of California, Nevada and Arizona. This notice is issued to obtain proposals from all commercial sources qualified and interested in providing services. Solicitation is to be issued under commercial item terms and conditions (FAR Part 12). Best Value Source Selection procedures will be used to evaluate offerors, which at a minimum will include Experience, Past Performance and Price as evaluation factors for award. The approximate solicitation date is December 31, 1997, with request for proposals scheduled for February 20, 1998, by 1:00 p.m. local time. Contracts awarded will incorporate initial recurring operations and maintenance tasks. These initial requirements are for the operation and maintenance of elevator systems in California, Arizona and Nevada. The period of performance is from April 1, 1998 through March 31, 2001, with two 3-year option periods. Tasks orders may be placed during the term of the contract for work in federally owned or leased facilities in the states of California, Nevada and Arizona.
