Reclamation is seeking potential sources for the supply of a
variable-speed, horizontal screw centrifugal-type pumping unit complete
with pump inlet section, stainless steel pump casing with stainless
steel shroud-enclosed impeller, bearings, induction motor, V-belt drive
connecting pump shaft to motor shaft, and a common base on which both
the pump and motor are mounted. The pumping unit is required to pump
water at 4,000 to 6,000 gal/min under a maximum Total Dynamic Head
(TDH) of 19 feet over the speed range of 530 to 600 rev/min using the
V-belt drive system. The induction motor shall be sized for the pump
characteristics over the specified range of operation and shall be 3
phase, 60 hertz, 460 volt, 1,150 rpm suitable for use with
variable-frequency drives. The pumping unit will be used to pump live
fish in a fish evaluation environment. This synopsis is not to be
construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government
pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of
the results of the review. Request all sources having a pump meeting
the above specified design conditions submit sufficient documentation
substantiating that their pump has demonstrated capability to safely
