Project AJXF 96-1502 consists of providing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work to repair dormitory buildings 1656, 1660, and 1671. The work includes, but is not limited to: Remove existing guardrail panels of exterior insulation finish system (EIFS) combined with exterior AC plywood, new gutter, downspout and fascia systems; Provide new standing seam metal roof (SSMR) on Buildings 1656 and 1660. Provide roof extension matching the color and configurations on the existing standing seam metal roof of Building 1671 to accommodate the new gutter, downspout and fascia systems. Total contract performance period is 600 calendar days. The proposed procurement is being issued as an unrestricted acquisition and is subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7008, Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns Construction Acquisitions Test Program. Award will be made to the offeror who the Government determines can best accomplish the necessary work to satisfy the requirements set forth in the RFP in a manner most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. Offer guarantee required.
