This contract includes but, is not limited to the furnishing of plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and incidental items in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Contract includes demolition of various facilities basewide to include but, not limited to wood frame, concrete, steel frame, and concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction. This contract also includes complete site demolition and restoration to include removal of piers, footings, slabs, or other foundation structures, backfilling basement holes, removal of sidewalks, stoops, steps, docks, asphalt paving and other items associated /integral to the building and or sites. Site restoration shall include filling, excavating, and/or grading the entire site as required in accordance with specifications. Contract includes the removal of underground utilities within the five foot line of the foundations and termination of the utility at the service connection or as directed. Contract also includes abatement, transportation, and disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) contaminated material, asbestos containing materials (ACM), and lead based paint materials. Some work may involve support of in house demolition efforts by providing portions of abatement, demolition, and or disposal effort. Procedures will be included in the solicitation. Follow on construction will occur at some sites by other means. Project will have a Basic Contract Period and four Option Periods each consisting of one year duration. Funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders. The magnitude of the Basic Contract Period and each Option Year is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Project guaranteed minimum is $100,000 for the Basic Contract Period only. There will be no guaranteed minimum for each Option Year. This project is subject to existing preference for Small Disadvantaged Businesses in accordance with current FAR requirements. The applicable size standard is $17,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous three years. Standard Industrial Classification code for this acquisition is 1795. Solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. NOTICE: A bid bond is required for 20% of the guaranteed minimum.
