D -- ACCESS TO ONLINE ASSISTED LEGAL RESEARCH SERVICE POC Joyce E Calloway, Contracting Officer, 202-708-7216 The U.S. Department of Education intends to enter into an Interagency Agreement with the Library of Congress for the purchase of on-line legal research and case retrieval services for its Office for Civil Rights. This acquisition will be accomplished using a Library of Congress FEDLINK Basic Ordering Agreement. Specifically, ED will be using the on-line service of WESTLAW-an online, full text, fully interactive computer assisted legal research service, consisting of judicial opinion, statutes, regulations and other related information including, US Code Annotated; Code of Federal Regulations; Federal Register; and federal and state case flow information. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. (0351)
