The Small Business Administration proposes to negotiate a sole source contract with Thomson Financial Publishing, Inc., Skokie, IL, to update and maintain data on U.S. financial institutions, including banks, holding companies, credit unions and other lending institutions. In addition to monthly updates, services include furnishing FTD tape file records, maintaining Federal Reserve System identification and FDIC certificate numbers for bank home offices, maintaining NCUA charter numbers, furnishing a help desk to research new and changed institutions, expanding merger transaction files to include branches, and general technical support for files.
