The purpose of the modification is to announce that the indefinate suspension of rfp f41691-97-R0016 has been lifted. Amendment 0002 changed the closing date of the solicitation from indefinate to read "12 Jan 98". This request for proposal (RFP) is for the acquisition of a commercially available Property Management System (PMS) with a Web Reservation Module System (WRMS), and a Corporate Headquarters System software package for the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corp also referred to as the Joint Services. Amendment 0002 clarifies and redefines the requirement for the Web Reservation Module as being a component of the PMS. The main function of the WRMS is meant to allow a Web Server running on the same computer as the PMS to access the PMS database. Amendment 0002 also answers industry's questions.
