The Contractor shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, labor, equipment, transportation, travel, and other elements as required in connection with water quality monitoring as described in the scope of work. The objective of this acquisition is to sample, analyze, document, and report water quality parameters at 88 designated sites on the 12 lakes in the Little Rock Corps of Engineers District. Sampling and testing shall coincide with the seasons of winter, spring and summer. Each sample will be analyzed for 23 specified parameters; some sites will include sampling for metals in addition to the 23 specified parameters. Field collections, field analysis and laboratory analytical procedures used must be in accordance with EPA's Guideline for Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants Under the Clean Water Act; Technical Amendments and Notice of Availability of Information; 40 CFR, Part 136, June 30, 1986. Offerors must submit EPA or State Laboratory Certification with their quotation in order to be considered for award. Numbered Note 1 applies. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about January 5, 1998 and quotes will be due at 2:00 p.m. January 20, 1998.
