General Services Administration(GSA) Northwest Arctic Region, maintains a Pre-Qualified Small Business Contractors List for Construction Services (Pre-Qualified Contractors List) for Eastern Washington. Counties included are Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla, Whitman and Yakima. The Pre-Qualified Contractors List is being used by GSA for a two year test period ending March 31, 1999. Should the test prove to be successful, GSA may continue to utilize, update and maintain the list. This list is limited to small business, small disadvantaged, and women owned businesses, interested in performing building repair and alterations work (construction services). Minimum requirements involve past performance, capability to provide bonding, and ability to conduct business electronically. Projects solicited under this list range from $2000 to $100,000. Once a requirement for construction services occurs, GSA will only solicit quotes from firms on the Pre-Qualified Contractors List via E-Mail or facsimile, unless adequate competition is not achieved.
