S -- UPGRADE EXISTING DIGITIZE DPM 2000 AND 3000 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM (MASTER) SOL FA441698T0215 POC POC: Trecil Ellison, 301-981-2315/facsimile, 301-981-1911: Andrews AFB MD intends to issue a solicitation to upgrade existing Digitize DPM 2000 Fire Alarm Systems (Master), Bldg 1287, and two remotes,Bldg 1539, Bldg 3616 with the Digitize DPM 3000 Fire Alarm System at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. The Contractor is to provide all equipment, transportation, materials, parts, and other items and services to up-grade the existing Digitize 2000 system, with Digitize 3000 Andrews AFB MD intends to issue a solicitation to upgrade existing Digitize DPM 2000 Fire Alarm Systems system in accordance with the Performance Work Statement at Andrews AFB, MD. A site visit will be required. The Government plans to solicit the described services using Far Part 12 commercial procedures. Interested parties shall identify, and submit to this office, their capability to fulfill the stated Government requirement with available commercial items/services. Descriptive literature such as brochures, pamphlets, etc. which describes services offered should also be included. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. If inadequate response is received from small businesses, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. The SIC Code is 7629. Business size must be included with your written request for a copy of the solicitation. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Only written requests for a copy of the solicitation will be honored and only one copy per firm. All information required for submission of an offer will be included with the solicitation package. Award is to be based upon price and other factors in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2 and as specified in descending order of importance: 1. Provide past performance with references in writing of the offerors ability to provide the expertise to upgrade existing Digitize 2000 system, with Digitize 3000 system in accordance with the Performance Work Statement at Andrews AFB. 2. Descriptive literature. 3. Price. Past performance and descriptive literature rate considerably higher than price. Offers are required to document past performance suitably and provide opportunity for verification. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-18, Availability funds and all other applicable clauses will be incorporated into the Purchase Order.
