This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) DAHA2098T8081. The Michigan Air National Guard, 110th Fighter Wing has a requirement for a 16 foot x 88 foot mezzanine storage decking. Additionally, there are requirements for pallet racks and rivet racks which will be described in detail in the RFQ. The material is for shipment to Battle Creek, Michigan. The storage decking shall be built in accordance with the specifications listed in the RFQ. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3441 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This will be a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. Only written requests to receive the RFQ package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ package release date is o/a 98 Feb 06. The closing date is 98 Feb 24. Telephone requests will not be honored. The Government will award to the offeror whose quotation best conforms to the RFQ, and whose price is most advantageous to the Government. Award will be made within one (1) week after closing.
