D -- TEMPORARY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS AT PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI SOL DCA200-98-R-0018 DUE 022598 POC Dawn Underwood, Contract Negotiator, 618-229-9739 Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has a requirement to lease a Transportable Satellite Earth Terminal; a 500 line, expandable to 1000 line Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone switch; an Outside Cable Distribution System; and, six portable Microwave Systems with an option for two additional portable Microwave Systems to meet communication requirements in support of the U.S. military mission in Haiti. Services required include provisioning, installation, maintenance, possible deployment/relocations and deinstallation. The contract term will be one base year with four one-year options. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or after 26 January 1998. Requests for copies of the RFP shall be made in writing or by facsimile at 618-229-9436.
