This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) CC-98-Q-0004. This is solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-02. (iv) This RFQ is issued as a small business set-aside. SIC Code 3599, Industrial and Commercial Machinery and Equipment, NEC applies. Size Standard 500 Employees. (v) Provide a price for Line Item 0001 Cavity Degausser Equipment. Requirement description is set forth in the following paragraph. (vi) Cavity Degausser Equipment must be DOD certified per DOD regulation 5200.28-M (Automated Data Processing Security), listed on the NSA Degausser Products List (DPL), and have maximum coercivity of 1700 oersteds. Cavity degausser equipment must also be able to erase information on the following magnetic media: 3480 cartridge tapes, 3490E cartridge tapes, 10" diameter reel tapes (1/ 2" tape width), 8mm cartridge tapes, 3 1/ 2" floppy disks, and PC hard drives. (vii) The OCC requires products to be shipped to Landover, MD within ten calendar days of award date. FOB point: Destination.
