The On-Line Information Retrieval Service shall include the following: (1) CD-ROM EE2P IEEE/IEL Electronic Library level I w/Pioneer 6-Pak, IEL2X IEEE/IE1 electronic library additional stand alone Index; (2) VSMF Products: ES410 ASTM, ES53A ASME -ASME Standards, ES671 SAE-AMS, ES673 SAE-J Reports, ES610 IEEE, 643 ASNT, DP3M DoDISS Additional Index, DSD1 DoD Directives on CD-ROM, CDC PNET software diskette (3-1/2 DOS if required), CD8 PNET-FPM w/department/agency support without DOL DISC 1, DEXRM Distributers (electrical/electronic), DHXRM Distributers (hardware/fasteners/materials), DIXRM Distributers (industrial), DLXRM Distributers (laboratory/scientific), and (3) one year maintenance on each drive in Government owned equipment: PI10M Pioneer DRM624 6 disk Mini-Charger. It is the intent of the Government to award this contract to Information Handling Services, Englewood, CA, on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Extensive market research has demonstrated that Information Handling Services is the sole publisher and distributor of the DoD Directive Services and the Military/Federal Specifications on visual research microform format. Interested persons and/or responsible businesses that recognize and can produce the above requirements are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
