A draft copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the NORAD/USSPACECOM Technical Service Support procurement is available for industry comment. This procurement includes non-personal services for end-to-end systems engineering support to the NORAD/USSPACECOM systems and mission. The support required shall assure that operational requirements are satisfied through technically feasible, integrated, system evolution, cost effective systems improvements, acquisition, and integration. An objective approach to the architecture, design, acquisition, test, modification, and upgrade of elements, communication links, display system, etc., is required to meet the demands of supporting the NORAD/USSPACECOM systems. This will be a 50% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 8711 with a small business classification ceiling of $20M. The government contemplates 2 multiple award cost-reimbursement type contracts for this requirement. There will be approximately two weeks allotted for submission of comments to the draft RFP. Unless a hard copy is specifically requested as a result of this announcement, the draft RFP will only be made available via the Internet.
