Health Services Division is seeking information on Physician Assistant
training programs that will provide a two-year course instruction to
be divided into didactic and clinical phases for BOP staff. The
training program must be fully accreditated by the American Medical
Association/Committee on Acreditation of Allied Health Education
Programs. There will be a minimum of four BOP students entering the
training program on an annual basis. The interested, qualified vendor
will train the BOP students in the academic and clinical skills
required for the PA profession. The program will include the minimum
course study for the student to obtain a PA Certification and a minimum
of a Bachelor's Degree. Vendors are invited to submit information that
describes, including but not limited to, the following: 1) the vendors
PA program, including course description, 2) price related information
for planning purposes (include On-campus v. Off-campus information) 3)
accreditation information, and 4) student pass/fail record on the PA
certification examination. The information may assist the BOP in
determining the availability of this program. Information should be
