Souto, Contracting Officer, 717-770-6206 The Defense Distribution Depot Anniston (DDAA) located in Anniston, Alabama has a requirement for a contractor to provide the necessary labor, material, equipment and controls required to make ready for operation the Receiving and Parcel Post Material Handling Systems complete with conveyors, controls, and scales mounted with ball transfer units. The function of the receiving systems (pallet and tote) is to process incoming pallets and tote size material. The function of the Parcel Post system is to process Parcel Post material that has to be packed, weighed and metered. Contractor supplied equipment must interface and be compatible with existing conveyor systems. This acquisition is unrestricted.
